*********************************************************************************

OSTKREUZ- Agentur der Fotografen, in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Indonesien, and supported by the Galeri Nasional Indonesia, Galeri Foto Jurnalistik Antara and Turkish Airlines, present the exhibition “Die Stadt - Vom Werden und Vergehen” (The City - Becoming and Decaying) which will be on show in Jakarta from 24th January until 7th February.
The exhibition opening will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2014, 7pm at Galeri Nasional in Jakarta.

The city is the origin of civilization, melting pot of cultures, mentalities, religions and ideas. Each day around the world almost 200.000 people are moving from the countryside to the cities, looking for a better life, security, freedom and prosperity. The city offers great chance, but also great risks for each individual: poverty, criminality and anonymity as well as blatant contrasts which shape many megacities today. Although: The city is the future of the world, the place which determines how people will henceforth live together.

With this exhibition, OSTKREUZ celebrates its 20th anniversary. The 18 photographers of the German agency OSTKREUZ are on the quest for finding the urban realities of today: How are people living in Tokyo and Manila, Lagos and Las Vegas, Berlin, Minsk and Gaza? Made up of overall 22 cities around the globe, the photographers have concentrated their personal impressions into photographic essays – a once-only long-term project. Shown are cities as places of future hope, but also in a way in which they seem to perish under the waste and chaos. All pictures present as a whole: the city of the future.

Sibylle Bergemann, Jörg Brüggemann, Espen Eichhöfer, Annette Hauschild, Harald Hauswald, Pepa Hristova, Andrej Krementschouk, Ute Mahler, Werner Mahler, Dawin Meckel, Julian Röder, Thomas Meyer, Frank Schinski, Jordis Antonia Schlösser, Anne Schönharting, Linn Schröder, Heinrich Völkel and Maurice Weiss are the photographers presented in the exhibition.

OSTKREUZ was established in 1990 by seven photographers in Berlin and now is one of the most important German photo agencies. At this time, the agency has 18 members. Almost all of them have received national and international awards. Their work can be found in art collections across the world.
Goethe-Institut takes the photography exhibition „The City“ on a Tour through Southeast Asia. After a successful exhibition in Vietnam, its current stop is now in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In Jakarta, a number of works of the Indonesian photographer Fanny Octavianus will be added to the show. During his 7 years of working in Jakarta at in Antara News Agency, he has gathered his own perspectives of Jakarta. The absurdity, complexity, and tension of his experience are described visually in this project. The complete works of this project are currently being compiled into a photo book called "JKT" scheduled to be launched sometime this year.

BMW 320d and BMW 520d debut in Singapore

The new BMW 3 Series Sedan - Sport Line, On-location (11/2011)

LIPUTANSATU, Singapore. BMW Asia has introduced the BMW 320d Sport, BMW 520d and 520d Luxury in Singapore for the first time. Their arrival serve to complement the recent launch of the BMW X5 xDrive30d, and further expands the BMW Advanced Diesel product portfolio to provide customers with more choices to suit their needs.

BMW Advanced Diesel engines featuring BMW TwinPower Turbo technology are capable of generating high levels of torque that has won over even performance-minded drivers. The high efficiency of BMW Advanced Diesel engines also ensures low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Produced using lightweight aluminium construction methods, BMW Advanced Diesel engines boast a plethora of technological innovations like the latest generation common rail injection, for example. A key feature is the high injection pressure of up to 2,000 bars which is generated regardless of the engine speed or amount of fuel being injected, thereby guaranteeing optimum and efficient carburetion and combustion. In combination with the standard particle filter, BMW diesel models offered in Singapore already comply with the EU 5 emissions standard.
With the latest generation common rail injection, the amount of fuel required is injected into the combustion chamber more precisely and accurately than ever before. Fuel consumption and emissions are considerably reduced, while engine performance, refinement and efficiency are significantly increased.

“Thanks to Efficient Dynamics, excellent performance and outstanding efficiency are no longer a contradiction, as shown by BMW Advanced Diesel technology. Besides being highly fuel efficient and low in CO2 emissions, the tremendous torque that it generates offers sheer driving pleasure like no other,” said Mr Sethipong Anutarasoti, Corporate Affairs Director of BMW Group Asia.

“BMW Advanced Diesel cars are built for long distance running and are the perfect choice for professionals and businessmen who may have numerous meetings on a daily basis and are constantly on the move. For instance, the BMW 520d Luxury has an outstanding average fuel consumption of more than 20km/litre (per average EU test cycle) and an impressive range of over 1,500km. Through its excellent fuel efficiency, there is no longer a need to refuel so often thereby saving customers precious time.”

Advanced Diesel cars can further benefit customers with a lower total cost of car ownership with an initial Carbon Emissions-Based Vehicle Scheme (CEVS) rebate. The BMW 320d Sport (118g/km; per average EU test cycle) and BMW 520d and 520d Luxury (129g/km; per average EU test cycle) will qualify for up to $15,000 and $10,000 of CEVS rebates, respectively.

The arrival of the BMW 320d Sport, BMW 520d and 520d Luxury serve as a second-phase Advanced Diesel model roll-out since the launch of the top-of-the-line 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine with Tri-turbo charging, via the high-performance BMW X6 M50d and BMW X5 M50d in late 2012.

“With the introduction of the BMW 320d Sport, BMW 520d and 520d Luxury, as well as the earlier launched BMW X5 xDrive30d, we have enhanced our diesel product portfolio to cater to an even wider audience than before,” concluded Mr Anutarasoti.

KPI, bekerjalah! Hukum stasiun TV pengabdi partai politik!
