The Indonesian economy in the second quarter of 2018 registered the highest annual quarterly growth — 5,27 % — under the administration of President Joko Widodo. The Indonesian economy, however, still faces a number of risks, internally and externally, and this is inextricably linked to the upcoming elections in April 2019.
