We are strengthening the preventive action towards the spread of COVID-19 by disinfecting our aircrafts to assure its cabin cleanliness as well as doing sterilization to kill all germs and viruses. Disinfection was done particularly to the fleets which previously served flights to affected countries and it applies thoroughly to the cabin and passenger areas, such as lavatory, seat, tray table, headrest, seat armrest, overhead compartment, and galley.

Before each departure, Garuda Indonesia is making sure the thorough daily cleaning and transit cleaning to mitigate any risks related to the outbreak.


EVEN WHEN YOU’RE ONBOARD

Our modern aircraft is equipped with the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, a standard feature installed on every Garuda Indonesia's aircraft. The aircraft filtration systems in cabins can filters 99.999 per cent of dust particles and airborne contaminants such as viruses and bacteria ensuring the highest quality of cabin air.

To maintain your safety and comfort during the flight, we provide a hand sanitizer that can be used by all passengers placed in the galley. We also optimize preventive efforts by recommending the use of masks for the cabin crew while on duty. In addition, we also provide cabin crew for the standard handling procedure of passenger that is suspected of having a communicable disease
